In honor of their title as Section 2 champions, our girls’ flag football team participated in the High School Girls’ Flag Football Celebration hosted by the New York Giants on June 11!
The Giants have played a crucial role in launching high school flag football programs across New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Each year, they invite sectional winners from the sections they've supported to a celebratory postseason event.
This year, the event, known as Built Ford Tough Field Day, was hosted at the Quest Diagnostic Training Center in New Jersey. Our Falcons had the exciting opportunity to engage with professional football athletes while competing against other sectional champions in a series of field day-style games. Our student-athletes excelled in the “flag attack game,” taking first place by scoring an impressive 36 flags!
Each section was awarded a special trophy to honor their championship victory. This event was a fantastic way to celebrate a remarkable season for our Falcon girls’ flag football team and build excitement for the next season to come.
