- Kudos to our students and staff who observed May Day on Thursday with a - we love this commitment to community investment!
- We were pleased to welcome on Wednesday. Showcasing our building, and the crucial role community schools have in shaping students' lives, was an honor. Details about the symposium, and the contributions of four district schools in partnership with United Community Schools, can be found here.
- North Albany's first Multi-Cultural Celebration is planned for Thursday (May 8) from 5-7 p.m. We can't wait to celebrate the rich cultures that make up our school community. Students will be allowed to stay after school for the event but must pick up a permission slip in the Main Office and return it ASAP.
- Albany High School's - for rising ninth graders - is scheduled for May 29 at 5:30 p.m. The event will introduce incoming students, and their families, to the campus and the wide variety of academic, athletic and extracurricular activities offered at AHS.

- We are once again asking for donated baked goods and beverages to celebrate our scholars following the Hon-a-Roll ceremony on May 9. Please use to sign up to make a donation.
- NAMS is a place of opportunity and we are hoping to periodically open up our facility to NAMS families. Please complete and let us know what you'd like to do learn or access.
- Earn money for North Albany Middle School's PTA simply by shopping at Hannaford! The Hannaford Helps Schools program runs through June 7. Shoppers will earn three school dollars for every four participating products purchased. At checkout, customers will receive a printout they can
- A recent Board of Education agenda item included information about a new school information and management system. You can view the and also that will help guide the district's decision.
- The City School District of Albany approved a $342.4-million budget for 2025-26. If approved May 20, the budget would continue to support programs and services that students need and deserve while also minimizing the impact on taxpayers. You can visit our Budget section to read more about the proposal and other related items voters will consider May 20. Additionally, two Board of Education seats are open - you can find more about that election on the district website, as well.
